We are committed to getting laptops out to clusters and students as quickly as possible.
But there are things that the teachers and students need to accomplish before the roll out. This is called "Earn the Right for Laptops." How quickly students get access to laptops will depend on how quickly the cluster completes these requirements.
The Boot Camp, a 'getting to know your laptop' session, must be held on the first day that laptops are distributed to students. This session will be co-taught by the classroom teacher and the Instructional Technology Director. Please contact Marla at ext. 3283, or mwitkowski@buffaloschools.org, to schedule a time for your session. Marla will verify that all other expectations for laptop implementation have been met prior to the session.
